Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery Donghai and Xuchang Direct Sales Stores grandly opened

On August 22, 2023, Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery Xuchang Direct Store opened in Jian’an District Agricultural Machinery Logistics Park, Xuchang, Henan Province. On August 31st, the grand opening ceremony of Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery Donghai Direct Sales Store was held.

Chairman Xuan Bihua attended the opening ceremony of the Donghai direct operated store and explained the importance of promoting the direct operated model, as well as the future development plan of the direct operated model.

Chairman Xuan pointed out that the purpose of implementing the direct sales model is for equipment manufacturing enterprises to move forward, be closer to users, and be closer to the market. Direct operated stores face users directly in channel construction, and integrate into end-users through equity participation in farms, agricultural reclamation, and corps. I believe that in the next decade of development, the modernization and scaling of Chinese agriculture will be a challenging yet promising period, and everyone will face a new form and model that is completely different from the traditional agricultural operation mode. Therefore, at present, we are all amateurs and need to humbly seek new needs. At the same time, after finding new needs, we need to establish new capabilities to meet them. Direct operated stores are an extension of the capabilities of manufacturing enterprises, and integrating into end users is also the ability to explore demand.

Direct operated stores are the second remanufacturing of our manufacturing enterprise. On this platform, we not only focus on the tractor market, but also on the application of tractors. We need to drive our supply chain, build our industrial chain, and work together to promote remanufacturing. Innovate, empower, expand applications, and seek new standards to meet new demands in remanufacturing. Through the platform of direct operated stores, we also need to innovate in our services, and this service is not traditional. We provide maintenance and parts, which are traditional services. The subsequent remanufacturing is also a kind of service, and the application and empowerment are also a kind of service. Moreover, we know the season of agriculture, agricultural products, and agricultural operations in advance, which can ensure that equipment does not stop or stops less during the season. Early service, as a form of physical examination, is also a kind of creation. So this platform has both remanufacturing and innovative services.

Chairman Xuan instructed that in the process of capacity building, in addition to channel extension and user extension, talent is also an extension. We hope to expand our agricultural services by integrating into farms, agricultural reclamation, agricultural cooperatives, including agricultural machinery cooperatives. In the extension of the direct operated store platform, we will explore and find more outstanding talents from all over the country to join Dongfeng’s direct operated stores. We welcome marketing talents, re empowered talents, and service talents. After joining, not only can they be hired as professional managers, but those with strong abilities can also invest in Dongfeng’s direct operated store shares, expanding Dongfeng’s ability to meet users and expanding our talent team. This is also a form of mechanism innovation.

Premier Li Qiang once said at a press conference at home and abroad that sitting in the office is a problem, but going to the scene is not a problem and can be solved. So, we can’t just sit in the factory and make products, but we need to go to the market to make products, services, and remanufacturing. I believe that through the opening of a direct operated store, we can fully achieve or meet our initial design goals and requirements. In addition, I also hope that whether it is users, supply chains, industrial chains, or partners, they can work together with us, resonate with each other, meet user needs, and ultimately achieve a win-win situation.

Chairman Xuan requested that Dongfeng take this action, and we believe that other peers in the industry will follow suit. It may become a trend in the future, and we need to constantly innovate on the platform.
